Potassium amyl xanthate is a very strong collector with weak selectivity, widely used in flotation of Cu, Zn, Ni and auriferous sulfide minerals. Besides, it can be used as collector reagent for recovering gold in Cu-Au minerals. On flotation of Cu, Pb, and some oxidized ores, it also has good effects.
